The Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization), or DGA, organized a workshop “Modernize workD and AI Skills for the Public Sector” in collaboration with Yip In Tsoi Co., Ltd. and Microsoft (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The event focused on the topic “AI in workD Modernization: Unified Communication System (workD Platform)” for the fiscal year 2025. Mr. Natthawat Woranoppakun, DGA Senior Executive Vice President, presided over the opening ceremony. The workshop aimed to develop the capabilities of workD system administrators from various government agencies, enabling them to operate the workD platform like professionals, and to better integrate AI skills in support of effective digital government operations.

Furthermore, Ms. Pojjanart Phuttaphruek, a speaker at the event, provided a lecture on techniques for email communication, cloud-based document management, and meeting organization, integrating the use of Microsoft Copilot. The session included demonstrations on advanced information search, conversational querying for complex data, document sharing, and real-time collaboration.

The seminar was also honored by Mr. Chawit Chamnanakit, a speaker from Microsoft (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who presented on applying Copilot in daily tasks. This session covered information retrieval, summarization, and translation, as well as effective prompt-writing techniques, image creation with Microsoft Designer, and guidance on further learning resources through Microsoft Learn to enhance Generative AI skills — all aimed at preparing for the digital workforce era.

The event magnetized strong interest, with 189 participants from 88 government agencies, and was held on March 12–13, 2025, at the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) Building.
