DGA organized the Seminar on the Status and Readiness of Thailand’s Digital Government for the year 2024.
DGA organized the “Seminar on the Status and Readiness of Thailand’s Digital Government 2024” on 20 January 2025. The event was honored by Mrs. Airada Luangvilai, DGA Senior Executive Vice President and Acting President & CEO, who presided over the ceremony. Mrs. Airada also delivered a keynote speech presenting the results of the Digital Government Readiness Survey 2024, along with key policy analysis and recommendations for enhancing the country’s digital government infrastructure and services.
The seminar continued with a lecture on the topic “Transforming Digital Organizations: Overcoming Uncertainty in the Future”, delivered by representatives of the Digital Government Award 2024 winners. These included: 1) The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), which received the Digital Government Award 2024 for the Best Department in Service Delivery (Category: Government Department), and 2) The Public Debt Management Office (PDMO), which received the Digital Government Award 2024 for the Best Department in Policy Making, Coordination, and Oversight (Category: Government Department).
Furthermore, a panel discussion on the topic “Public Sector Personnel: A Key Factor to the Success of Digital Government” was held. The discussion featured representatives from key agencies driving the enhancement of digital skills for government personnel, including The Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), The National Digital Economy and Society Commission (NDESC), and The Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization). The session was moderated by Mr. Charin Thiratitayangkul, DGA Vice President of Digital Government Strategy. The panelists shared insights into the importance of upskilling public sector employees to drive Thailand’s digital government initiatives forward successfully.
The event concluded with a lecture on “Clarifying the Timeline for the Digital Government Readiness Survey 2025 and Approaches to Enhancing Digital Government Readiness According to the OCSC Indicators”, presented by Ms. Thipsuda Chotchuen, Digital Government Policy Manager, DGA.
