Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Chairs the Committee Meeting on the Preparation of the Integrated Budget for Fiscal Year 2026

On Wednesday, 29 January 2025, the Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization), as the leading agency of the Digital Government Integration Program, held a meeting of the committee responsible for preparing the integrated budget for the fiscal year 2026, Subcommittee 6.1 on Digital Government Integration. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong, Deputy Prime Ministerand Minister of Digital Economy and Society.
This meeting aimed to consider the budget under the Digital Government Integration Program for fiscal year 2026. For this fiscal year, the program is being advanced through three key operational goals:
Upstream – Enhancing the government’s digital transformation to be more agile and responsive, to support efficient administration.
Midstream – Supporting the development of basic service platforms or shared digital tools for public sector use.
Downstream – Integrating public sector data and services into comprehensive digital platforms that address user needs.
In addition, for fiscal year 2026, three important strategic approaches have been introduced:
Promoting government agencies to reach a level of service and operations aligned with the Cloud First policy.
Developing digital systems in government agencies to improve work efficiency using artificial intelligence (AI).
Enhancing digital public services to better serve citizens using artificial intelligence (AI).
For the consideration of projects under Subcommittee 6.1, a total of 10,574.3442 million baht was approved for 314 projects submitted by 124 agencies.
