Award for Government Agencies with Good Performance in External Quality Assessment of Internal Audit for the Fiscal Year 2023
The Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) or DGA received the “Good Level (Leveraging)” award for External Quality Assessment of Internal Audit in the Public Sector for the Fiscal Year 2023, presented by the Comptroller General’s Department.
Miss Apinporn Angkakamolset, Deputy Director of the DGA, received the award from Mrs. Patricia Mongkhonvanit, Director-General of the Comptroller General’s Department, who presided over the ceremony. The award ceremony for External Quality Assessment of Internal Audit in the Public Sector for Fiscal Years 2021-2023 was held on March 26, 2024, at Best Western Hotel, Chatuchak, Bangkok.
The external quality assessment of internal audit is an evaluation conducted by an external entity to assess the quality of internal audit functions within government agencies. This assessment aims to enhance the quality of internal audits in alignment with the State Fiscal and Financial Discipline Act, B.E. 2561 (2018), promoting transparency and good governance within public sector organizations.
Additionally, it ensures stakeholders’ confidence in the efficiency and effectiveness of government implementation. The assessment also serves to encourage and support government agencies in developing internal auditors, who play a crucial role in continuously improving internal audit quality. DGA takes great pride and honor in receiving this prestigious award.
