In 2020, DGA, represented by Ms. Apinhporn Aungkhagamonsesth, Senior Executive Vice President, received the Outstanding Award in the category of Integrated Data for Services from the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Wissanu Krea-ngam. The award was retrieved from the “LandsMaps” project, an online geographic information system (GIS) for land parcel searches, developed in collaboration with the Department of Lands, Treasury Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning.
This achievement reflects DGA’s continued success in fulfilling its mission as the central agency for digital government development. DGA provides support and promotion for government agencies and other organizations in adopting digital technologies to develop public administration and service delivery. By integrating digital tools, DGA aims to increase efficiency, improve public service accessibility, promote open government data, and encourage collaboration among all sectors.
The award ceremony was organized by the OPCD to recognize government agencies that have demonstrated excellence in elevating public service efficiency, improving internal management quality, and strengthening public sector collaboration. The Public Service Award is presented to government agencies that have advanced their service quality to ensure citizens receive convenient, fast, transparent, fair, and satisfactory services.
For the Public Sector Excellence Awards ceremony this year, a total of 1,416 projects were submitted for consideration. However, only 198 projects were selected to receive awards.
