DGA organized a Request for Information (RFI) meeting to collect input for the consideration of qualifications and operational guidelines for the Central Revenue Management System Development Project under the “20-Baht Flat Fare for Electric Trains” Initiative.

The Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization), or DGA, held a Request for Information (RFI) meeting to collect input for defining the qualifications and operational guidelines for the Central Revenue Management System development project under the government’s “20-Baht Flat Fare for Electric Trains” policy. This initiative is a part of the government’s key urgent policies aimed at improving public transportation accessibility and affordability.

The meeting was held on April 8, 2025, at the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) Building. It was honored by Mrs. Airada Luangvilai, DGA Senior Executive Vice President and Acting President & CEO, who provided an overview of the Central Clearing House system concept for the unified fare collection and revenue management across electric train lines. The meeting served as a preparatory and exploratory step, ensuring that all aspects and influencing factors were thoroughly considered before launching the project.

The session proceeded with Dr. Asis Unyapoth​, DGA Executive Vice President, who provided an in-depth briefing on the information necessary for defining the qualifications and operational framework of the Central Revenue Management System.

The meeting was honored by the participation of key public sector agencies, including:

  • Department of Rail Transport
  • Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP)
  • Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)

As well as private sector representatives from major electric train service providers:

  • Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM)
  • SRT Electrified Train Company Limited (SRTET)
  • Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited
  • Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited
  • Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTS)

Also in attendance were leading private companies interested in contributing input to the RFI process.
