A First for Thailand! Submitting Requests for Copies of Administrative Court Judgments or Orders Now Available Through Thang Rath Super App, Reinforcing Government’s Digital Policy

The Office of the Administrative Courts, in collaboration with the Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) (DGA), has launched a new service allowing citizens to request copies of Administrative Court Judgments or Administrative Court Orders through the “Thang Rath” app. Thang Rath super app initiative aims to enhance public convenience by providing easy access to Administrative Court services while reducing costs and no travel required. The inauguration was presided over by Mr. Prapat Tansuwannon, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Administrative Court, with Dr. Supot Tiarawut,  President & CEO of DGA, expressing gratitude for the Administrative Court’s participation in the Thang Rath super app.

The event was also attended by other senior officials, including Mr. Jamnong Thavornvisith,  Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Administrative Court, Mr. Chamnan Tippayachanawon, Advisor to the Office of the Administrative Court, Mrs. Areephan Charoensuk, Deputy Secretary-General of the Public Sector Development Commission, Ms. Apinhporn Aungkhagamonsesth and Mr. Nattawat Woranopakul, Senior Executive Vice Presidents of DGA, and Dr. Asis Unyapoth,​ Executive Vice President of DGA, who presented the project objectives. The ceremony was held on November 15, 2023, at the DGA office.

Mr. Prapat Tansuwannon stated that this collaboration marks the beginning of expanding the Administrative Court Office’s services into digital services, ensuring wilder public access with secured identification aligned with government digital service standards. He expressed appreciation for DGA’s support in developing digital services and expanding channels for easier and faster public access to Administrative Court services. The office is delighted to contribute to Thailand’s digital government development, aligning with the country’s Digital Government Development Plan and the Electronic Performance of Administrative Functions Act B.E. 2565 (2022).The office expects this digital service integration to help citizens access administrative justice through digital channels. Citizens can now easily submit requests and search for judgments and orders from the Administrative Courts of First Instance and the Supreme Administrative Court electronically – conveniently and quickly, anytime and anywhere. Additionally, another e-service now allows citizens, parties involved in cases, and government agencies to file administrative cases online through the Administrative Court website at www.admincourt.go.th.

Dr. Supot Tiarawut,  President & CEO of DGA, stated that DGA is honored to be a part of supporting the Administrative Court Office in its transition to becoming a digital organization that is cohesive, agile, and well-suited to current circumstances. He also noted that this collaboration is crucial in developing Thailand as a Smart Nation for Smart Life. He emphasized DGA’s belief that building a modern, efficient country will improve the quality of life for all citizens.

DGA, in partnership with OPDC and various stakeholders in all sectors, has developed the “Thang Rath” app as the largest super app for government services, providing access to more than 134 services across all age groups. Citizens can easily contact government agencies online. The app has accumulated 743,468 downloads and 9.5 million uses as of November 13, 2023.
